Responsibilities:
PRN: Schedule & Required Shifts:
Two (2) shifts in a four (4) week Block minimum;
Call for PRN: 1/2x’s per month with the following schedule for call:
Monday–Friday: 5:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM (24-hour call)
Holidays : 24 hour shift Availability for (1) summer and (1) winter
Role Overview
A cardiac cath lab nurse specializes in:
Assisting with catheterizations
Monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures
Administering medications
Supporting procedural teams
Responsibilities
Patient assessments and care planning
Medication administration and moderate sedation
Hemodynamic monitoring
Circulating and scrubbing in EP and invasive procedures
Patient and family education
Maintaining accurate medical records
Ensuring regulatory compliance
Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Nursing (required)
One (1) year of CVL RN Experience HIGHLY Preferred
Active NM or Compact RN License
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required at hire
