Senior Integration Advisor

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior Integration Advisor (SIA) is responsible for end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of acquired firm integrations, owning both integration leadership and critical operational execution to ensure seamless transitions. This role serves as MAI’s primary integration lead and is accountable for relationship management, cross-functional coordination, data readiness, and operational accuracy throughout the integration lifecycle.

The SIA functions as the single point of accountability for integration execution, owning integration strategy and coordination while confirming the accuracy of key data, valuation inputs, and system readiness activities required to successfully complete integrations.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan: Integration Strategy & Readiness

· Get involved before close to understand the acquired firm’s operations, data, systems, and risks

· Lead operational and client due diligence activities

· Build integration plans, timelines, and trackers tailored to each deal

· Flag data dependencies and system impacts early, and confirm valuation inputs are complete and accurate before execution

Execute: Integration Leadership & Operational Ownership

· Act as MAI’s main integration lead and day-to-day point of contact for the acquired firm’s leadership

· Run weekly integration calls, milestone check-ins, and issue resolution

· Coordinate and drive integration work across Finance, IT, HR, Operations, Marketing, and Shared Services

Own: Data, Valuation Support & System Readiness — owns the accuracy and execution of all integration-critical data and workflows, including:

· Valuation support: collect and confirm valuation inputs provided; verify accuracy and reconcile figures for consistency downstream

· CRM, billing, and custodial data: prepare, review, and submit CRM and billing import files; build, check, and troubleshoot Excel files and templates

· DocuSign and consent processes: handle CSV creation, form selection, and packaging of custodial and client paperwork

· Data quality assurance: keep data accurate, complete, and consistent across valuation, consent, CRM, and billing workflows

Partner: Cross-Functional Execution

· Work closely with Finance, IT, HR, Operations, Marketing, vendors, and custodians to complete integrations

· Keep ownership, timelines, and handoffs clear across teams

· Stay on top of dependencies and close gaps when ownership isn’t clear

Measure & Improve

· Track progress against timelines, financial targets, and operational milestones

· Spot recurring issues and help standardize, document, and improve the process

· Suggest changes to the integration approach based on lessons learned

EXPERIENCE/CREDENTIALS

· Bachelor’s degree required

· 5–7+ years of experience in financial services, RIA, or investment management, and in M&A, post-merger integration, or enterprise transformation

· Hands-on experience with valuation data support, CRM and billing system integrations, and Excel-based data modeling and reconciliation

· Track record of managing complex, cross-functional work under tight deadlines
