Overview
Performs a variety of patient care activities within Behavioral Health in accordance with established standards and practice. Augments a physician's ability to provide mental health services to patients; collects and documents data, conducts diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, orders and schedules laboratory studies and professional consultations and provides direct patient care services.

Qualifications
Education
- Master’s degree Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Master’s in Nursing Required or
- Master’s degree Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistants program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board. Specialty in Behavioral Health Required
Work Experience
- 2 years of Behavioral Health experience Required
- Behavioral Health experience strongly Preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- ACNP - Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Licensed for Advanced Practice Nursing (ACNP/FNP) Upon Hire Required or PMHNP-BC
- FNP - Family Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or
- PA - Physician Assistant Licensed Physician Assistant in the State of Georgia. Updated NCCPA certification for PA’s Upon Hire Required and
- ACLS Upon Hire Required and
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
