JOB PURPOSE:
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) functions as an integral member of the obstetric anesthesia care team, providing comprehensive anesthesia services exclusively for Labor and Delivery patients. This position supports 24-hour OB coverage and delivers safe, high-quality, and patient-centered anesthesia care for obstetrical patients across all acuity levels, including labor analgesia, cesarean delivery, and emergent OB procedures. Practice is conducted in collaboration with and under the medical direction of anesthesiologists in accordance with state and institutional guidelines.SCHEDULES AVAILABLE:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA):
Graduation from a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (or its predecessor)
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
For CRNAs:
Current Georgia CRNA license (or eligible and willing to obtain Georgia licensure)
Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
