STAFF RN EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT

The Emergency Department Staff RN provides safe, timely, and compassionate nursing care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced emergency setting. Responsibilities include patient assessment and triage, implementation of nursing interventions, medication administration, monitoring and reassessment, assisting with emergency and trauma care, and collaborating with providers and the interdisciplinary team. The RN must be able to prioritize patient needs, respond effectively to changing conditions, and provide high-quality care in accordance with hospital policies and professional nursing standards.

The ideal candidate should possess knowledge in patient care equipment and basic computer skills.

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:

 Associate’s degree in nursing required. Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. A Kentucky RN license and BLS training is required for this position.
