Essential Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprint specifications to determine procedures and operational sequence.
- Set up, adjust, and operate equipment with limited supervision.
- Operate various hand tools and power tools to make finish adjustments to products.
- Use a variety of precision measuring devices to set up and adjust work and verify conformance to specifications.
- Troubleshoot operating, material, and tooling problems.
- Perform general preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Guide assisting personnel on correct procedures.
- Complete all required documentation and paperwork for finished processes.
- Follow all cleanup and housekeeping procedures.
- Comply with all quality, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Meet the required work hours of the department.
SKILLS:
- Read and interpret blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Communicate effectively with employees throughout the organization.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Solve practical problems and work with a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
- Interpret and follow written, verbal, diagram, and schedule-based instructions.
