    Safety & Compliance

    • Maintain compliance with state regulations for medication delegation and memory-care operations.

    • Adhere to infection-control practices, including hand hygiene and proper PPE use.

    • Assist in maintaining a secure environment, preventing elopement/wandering events.

    • Participate in emergency drills, incident reporting, and follow-up documentation.

    • Keep resident information confidential in alignment with HIPAA and facility policy.

    Team Collaboration

    • Communicate changes in condition, behavior, or medication-related concerns to nursing staff.

    • Participate in shift huddles, care planning discussions, and in-service training.

    • Support and mentor caregivers on dementia-friendly and behavioral-safety techniques.

    Family & Resident Interaction

    • Interact compassionately and professionally with residents and families.

    • Provide updates (within role scope) on daily routines, behaviors, and general well-being.

    • Help create a welcoming, supportive environment for family visits and engagement.

    Qualifications
