KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop architectural concepts, detailed drawings, specifications and schedules in line with project requirements and statutory regulations.
- Coordinate design inputs with structural, MEP, procurement and site teams to ensure consistency, accuracy and constructability.
- Conduct design reviews at key milestones, addressing clashes, quality issues and required revisions promptly.
- Ensure all architectural deliverables meet internal standards, client expectations and regulatory approvals.
- Incorporate sustainability and ethical construction practices into design solutions.
- Prepare and update drawing registers, documentation, RFIs and related technical submissions.
- Participate in site inspections to verify design intent, resolve field issues and support construction progress.
- Manage revisions, change requests and design adjustments to minimise delays and rework.
- Provide guidance and oversight to the Assistant Architect, reviewing outputs and assigning tasks as required.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; Master’s degree is an advantage.
- COREN, ARCON or equivalent registration preferred.
- Minimum 5–7 years architectural experience in construction or consultancy environments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, BIM tools and MS Office.
- Strong understanding of building codes, planning regulations and construction methodologies.
- Experience working within ISO-compliant systems is desirable.
