Senior Media Manager

Podean is seeking an experienced Senior Media Manager who will own and lead strategic client engagements across Amazon, Target, Walmart, and other marketplaces. This role demands hands-on expertise managing complex accounts, shaping and executing strategic direction, and a passion for guiding clients and team members to success. As the go-to marketplace media expert, you will unlock opportunities for growth, innovation, and excellence while leading the day-to-day management of client partnerships and growing your media teams.

Responsibilities: 

• Lead the strategic direction and performance of a portfolio of complex accounts, ensuring strong client outcomes and business growth
• Serve as a combination of primary day-to-day contact for complex clients and escalation for smaller brands with media specialist support
• Leading regular meetings and provide direction to account team, driving efficiency and unity
• Oversee holistic media strategies that align with client business objectives, market trends, and emerging opportunities
• Leverage data and performance insights to inform strategic recommendations, optimize campaigns, and maximize media effectiveness
• Develop and present QBRs and reporting in collaboration with cross-functional teams, translating complex campaign data into a clear, actionable narrative
• Develop long-term strategic roadmaps for clients and lead testing initiatives to drive continuous growth and innovation
• Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to drive alignment, collaboration, and successful execution across account initiatives
• Serve as a trusted advisor by educating clients on industry trends, best practices, and new platform capabilities
• Lead and develop account teams through coaching, mentorship, and strategic guidance to strengthen capabilities and drive high-quality execution
• Develop and improve internal processes that transcend beyond just media
• Develop best practices as a SME and garner buy-in from internal and external teams

Experience

• 6+ years, including hands-on keyboard experience managing Amazon Search and DSP across multiple industries
• Hands-on keyboard management experience on Walmart, Target, or other eRetail media campaigns, and using campaign bidding/management tools.
• Proven ability to manage people, lead teams, and unlock potential in others.
• Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills to deliver measurable results and insights.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, chart building; Visual Basic macros a plus) and familiarity with Amazon tools like PacVue, Sellics, Teikametrics, or Perpetua.
• Strong professional presence and communication skills to influence and inspire clients and teams.
• Ability to multitask across priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong experience in creating and implementing team structures and process improvements

The expected salary range for this role is $95,000 - $110,000. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Compensation will be competitive plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K contribution, and our flexible #workfromanywhere policy.
