We are looking for a competent and safety‑focused Deck Crew, Integrated Rating (FSO) to support critical marine, deck, cargo, and off‑take operations onboard our Floating Storage & Offloading (FSO) facility. The successful candidate will ensure safe deck operations, efficient lifting activities, and effective support of tanker mooring and cargo transfer processes.
Responsibilities
Deck Operations & Maintenance
- Maintain all deck areas and storerooms in a safe, secure, and orderly condition.
- Assist the Bosun with inspections, cleaning, painting, and general upkeep of the hull, superstructure, and deck equipment.
- Support the vessel’s preventive maintenance program.
Rigging, Lifting & Crane Operations
- Competent in cargo rigging, winch operations, deck machinery use, and working aloft.
- Assume crane operator duties in the Bosun’s absence and maintain full control of lifting operations.
- Stop any lifting activities immediately if unsafe conditions are observed.
Marine & Off‑Take Operations
- Assist with mooring hawsers, static tow wire handling, and safe hose‑handling during cargo transfer.
- Support tanker mooring/unmooring, hose connection, and offloading activities.
- Coordinate with support vessels for lifting, hose, and mooring operations.
- Familiar with bunkering, floating hose handling, and marine deck procedures.
Cargo & Safety Systems Support
- Assist the Cargo Operator with FFA (Firefighting Appliances) and LSA (Lifesaving Appliances) inspections and upkeep.
- Support Cargo Control Room by performing ullaging and sampling as required.
- Carry out gas testing and equipment isolation according to permit‑to‑work and safe‑entry requirements.
- Ensure all offloading tools, lifting gear, and equipment remain in proper working condition.
Teamwork & Work Environment
- Able to work effectively in a multicultural, multi‑religious offshore environment.
- Uphold safety culture, operational discipline, and teamwork at all times.
Qualifications
- Minimum requirement: Recognized Deck/Engine Rating Certificate, equivalent offshore vocational qualification, or Matayom 6 (Thai nationals).
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in FSO/FPSO operations.
- Crane Operator Certificate Level II / III is an added advantage.
- Significant experience in cargo movement, ballast/de-ballast operations, berthing/unberthing, and general marine tasks.
- HLA Certificate – preferred.
- DCT Certificate – preferred.
- AGT Certificate – preferred.
