We are looking for a competent and safety focused BOSUN to execute deck operations, lifting activities, and watchkeeping duties to support safe and reliable offshore operations onboard the FSO. Manage deck crew tasking, supervise marine support activities, and ensure all deck, lifting, and crane operations comply with safety regulations, risk controls, and facility Safety Case requirements. Contribute to effective risk management through consistent application of approved procedures and operational standards.

- Operate and control offshore cranes up to certified capacity to support safe lifting, cargo handling, and deck operations in accordance with the safe system of work and manufacturer guidelines.
- Supervise and execute cargo rigging, winch operations, working aloft and other deck activities to ensure efficient and compliant marine operations.
- Stop operations when unsafe conditions arise to prevent incidents and maintain safe working environments.
- Plan and assign daily work to Integrated Ratings to ensure efficient task execution aligned with operational priorities.
- Coordinate deck maintenance activities, including cleaning, painting, hull/superstructure upkeep and routine preventive maintenance to preserve asset condition and operational readiness.
- Coordinate and support boat operations, floating hoses, hawser handling, bunkering and tanker berthing/unberthing to ensure safe and controlled marine operations.
- Maintain and update lifting gear inventory, including greasing, splicing, inspection records and replacement to comply with lifting safety standards.
- Perform gas tests and isolations under Permit‑to‑Work and Safe Entry procedures to ensure safe conditions for maintenance or enclosed-space entry.
- Lead or support firefighting and emergency response activities to maintain high readiness in hazardous offshore conditions.
- Maintain and control inventory of parts, consumables, and critical deck equipment to support continuous deck operations.
- Prepare and complete PTW, JSA, Risk Assessment and Method Statements to ensure work is performed safely and in compliance with procedures.
Work effectively with multi‑cultural and multi‑religious crew members to maintain a cooperative and inclusive working environment.
Qualifications
Job Requirement:-
- Recognized Deck/Engine Rating Certificate, equivalent offshore vocational certification, or Matayom‑6 (Thailand).
- Minimum 5 years maritime experience, including at least 2–3 years as Bosun on FSO/FPSO or petroleum tankers.
- Offshore Crane Operator certification (up to 20 MT).
- Competent in crane signaling and first‑line crane maintenance.
- HLO, AGT and DCT Certificates
- Strong knowledge of O&G PTW system, HSE standards, SOLAS, MARPOL, ISPS.
- Experience in berthing/unberthing, cargo movement operations, ballast/deballast activities.
- Proficient in deck maintenance, rigging, slinging, scaffolding, knots, splicing, mooring operations.
- Ability to lead deck crew with diverse backgrounds.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
