Expedites food items from the expo position in the kitchen. Responsible for ensuring quality and presentation of all food is according to specification. Communicates with team members and leadership to quickly and efficiently send food orders out to guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities:
- Responsible for expediting food in a quick and efficient manner. Checks food for appearance, consistency and quality to ensure product is served as designed and up to standards.
- Monitors food production to include proper food serving temperatures, cleanliness and sanitation of the line and related areas, and proper handling and storage of prepared food and leftovers
- Utilizes proper food handling procedures and follows all safety guidelines
- Maintains organization and prioritizes tasks regardless of business levels
- Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same
- Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Required
- Professional appearance as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook
- Must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team
- A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment
- Performs all the duties of a Server Assistant, Steward, Snack Bar Attendant or Cook in the outlets as needed to include Banquet functions
- If 18 years of age, performs all the duties of a Club Premier Service Host, Coffee Bar Attendant, Food Server or Cashier/Host, in the outlets as needed to include Banquet functions
- Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same
Preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of kitchen sanitation, operations, and maintenance of kitchen equipment
- Six months experience in multiple areas of kitchen operation
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
