    Job description

Urgent Care Physician Assistant | 12 Shifts per Month | New Grads Welcome

A Great Place to Begin, or Grow, Your Career in Pendleton, Oregon

Build a rewarding career and still have plenty of time for life outside of work.

Praxis Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our established team at Pendleton Urgent Care. With a schedule of just 12 shifts per month, this opportunity offers the kind of work-life balance that is hard to find in healthcare, along with the support of an experienced team and a beautiful, modern clinic that is ready for you to step in and practice.

Whether you are an experienced provider looking for greater autonomy and flexibility or a new graduate ready to begin your career with strong clinical support, we would love to hear from you.

    Why You’ll Love This Opportunity

    • Only 12 shifts per month – enjoy meaningful stretches of time away from work for family, travel, outdoor adventures, or simply recharging
    • 100% outpatient urgent care
    • New graduates are encouraged to apply
    • Work alongside experienced, knowledgeable providers who can offer guidance and support as you grow
    • Established patient volume, workflows, and support staff - a truly turnkey practice environment
    • Stable, long-term clinic team
    • Modern, thoughtfully designed facility
    • Provider autonomy within a supportive practice culture

A Great Place to Begin, or Grow, Your Career

While previous urgent care or emergency medicine experience is certainly valued, we recognize that great providers are also developed through the right environment, mentorship, and hands-on experience. We have the clinical resources and experienced providers in place to support a newly graduated FNP as they build confidence, strengthen their skills, and transition into independent practice.

For an experienced Nurse Practitioner, this is an opportunity to join an established clinic where the patients, team, and infrastructure are already in place, without sacrificing flexibility or autonomy.
