Scheduler

Job Summary:

Ensures that work is properly scheduled to meet the needs of our customers. products to the customer. 

Essential Functions:

Microsoft Dynamics AX/Infor:

• Serve as the primary point person for the elements of the ERP system that pertain to the demand/supply profile for manufactured products. 
• Work with all Operational departments and IT to drive systemic improvements. Serve as the mentor and trainer to manufacturing personnel in all issues related to MRP. 
• Participate in the effort to evolve the MRP system to better suit the needs of a Lean manufacturing environment.
• Firm and Release production orders for production
• Problem Solve MRP Issues

Microsoft Project:

• Create and maintain schedules.
• Provide quick responses to production issues.
• Identify problems and help improve processes.
• Use Microsoft Project to generate reports and schedules.
• Ensure that company deadlines are met.
• Manage Material updates in schedule / customer changes / non-conformance.
• Attends meetings to preview or review existing or new Projects.
• Other job duties as required.

Essential Skills Include Proficiency With:

• Microsoft (Project Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.)
• Microsoft Dynamics AX
• Infor
• Blueprint reading
• Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing
• Ability to type 25 WMP.

Essential Mental Functions:

• Ability to make logical decisions.
• Utilize all resources in an effective manner.
• Problem solving and quick response to issues.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Mental recall.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

• Ability to create logical schedules.
• Know how to use and generate reports and schedules. 
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project
• Knowledge of MRP required (Microsoft Dynamics AX)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Knowledge and utilization of scheduling, inventory control and planning methods
• General understanding of fabrication / machining / inventory and control
• Ability to type at least 25 WPM.

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma preferred.
