We are looking for a hands-on, entrepreneur PR professional to lead client work and help grow PRecious in Vietnam. This is not a traditional account management role. You need to be comfortable operating independently, getting hands-on with delivery, converting opportunities into business, and building our presence in the market.
We want someone who gets a kick out of building and growing, rather than simply stepping into an established structure.
What You Will Own
Client Leadership & Delivery
Independently lead Vietnam accounts and projects across corporate, B2B and consumer communications.
Own client relationships, strategy, delivery, timelines, budgets and profitability.
Stay hands-on across media relations, writing, content, events and reporting.
Work with PRecious teams across Southeast Asia on regional and multi-market campaigns.
Media Relations & Storytelling
Develop locally relevant stories and angles that journalists and audiences care about.
Personally pitch media and build trusted relationships with journalists and editors.
Generate earned coverage through strong storytelling, editorial relevance and genuine relationships, rather than relying primarily on transactional placements.
Maintain strong knowledge of Vietnam’s media, influencer and digital landscape.
Growth & New Business
Turn inbound and regional opportunities into strong local strategies, proposals and pitches.
Help convert opportunities and grow existing client relationships.
Proactively identify new relationships and business opportunities in Vietnam.
Work with regional leadership on pitches, scopes, pricing and commercial discussions.
Build PRecious in Vietnam
Help build PRecious’ reputation, network and visibility in the market.
Identify and execute opportunities to put PRecious in front of the right audiences, including media coverage, commentary, thought leadership, speaking opportunities, industry events and partnerships.
Build relationships across Vietnam’s business, media and communications ecosystem.
Operate effectively in a lean setup, using regional resources, partners and freelancers where needed.
Help recruit and develop a local team as the business grows.
AI & Modern Communications
Use AI and modern tools to improve research, insights, creativity and execution.
Stay curious about how technology is changing communications and continuously look for smarter ways to deliver better work.
What We Are Looking For
5–8+ years of PR/communications experience, with strong agency experience.
Able to independently lead and execute client accounts without layers of supervision.
Experience across corporate, B2B and/or consumer communications.
Strong Vietnam media relationships and a proven ability to organically pitch stories and generate earned coverage.
Strong writing and storytelling skills in Vietnamese and English.
Experience with proposals, pitches and new-business conversion.
Commercial understanding of scopes, budgets and account profitability.
Some people-management experience and the appetite to build a team over time.
Experience working with Vietnamese and international/regional clients.
Comfortable rolling up your sleeves regardless of seniority.
Most importantly, you enjoy building: clients, relationships, opportunities, reputation and ultimately a stronger PRecious business in Vietnam.
