Our work sits at the intersection of politics, business, and culture, helping leaders and organizations make an impact when it matters most. We hire people who are the best at what they do, and who like to have fun doing it; we don’t just break through. We break new ground.

Our team is seeking a principal to join our Strategic Communications team in New York, NY or Washington DC executing cutting-edge communications strategy for clients ranging from nonprofits and advocacy groups to media start-ups and industry leaders.

    • Guides junior staff and interns, by reviewing and editing junior team members’ work and providing written and verbal feedback.

    Project & Time Management

    • Meets deadlines set by client lead.

    Strategy

    • Produces clear, persuasive content based on client strategy with minimal guidance; regularly seeks feedback and reviews and edits junior team members’ work.
    • Proactively uses available tools and sources to research and apply informed judgment to decisions, ensuring work aligns with strategy and long-term goals.
    • Identifies potential issues or strategy gaps early, recommends adjustments, and supports teams in course-correcting.

    What We Are Looking For:

    • 4+ years of experience in a communications role either in-house, agency, political campaign, government or consultancy environment. Internship experience considered.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • A strong interest in the media and corporate, advocacy and political campaigns, experience in press relations, message development and strategic planning.
    • Creativity, energy, detail-orientation, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

    What We Will Give You:
