Job description

Proper diagnostic and problem solving in an immediate response situation to equipment failure, modifying electrical portion of production equipment and fabrication
Responsible for all electrical maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems on production equipment and building related essential maintenance
To check overall condition and operation of equipment on an ongoing and regular basis.
Ensure full implementation of all relevant procedures and instructions and ensure documentation and records are maintained adherent to TS16949 Quality Systems.
PLC training a plus

4 years apprenticeship or graduated from vocational/technical in electrical/electronic discipline and certification of qualification/or equivalent offsetting experience
5+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment
Licensed electrician
Moderate understanding of electrical schematics and PLC’s
Ability to make correct and expedient repairs under pressure
Strong organizational/verbal communication skills in a team environment
Ability to prioritize handling of situations
