    Job Description Summary:

    Lead Operations Across Three Growing Specialty Service Lines
    MarinHealth Medical Network is seeking an experienced healthcare operations leader to oversee our Neurology, Pulmonology, and Infectious Disease practices. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a healthcare professional who thrives in a fast-paced ambulatory environment and enjoys partnering with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical teams to drive exceptional patient care.
    As the Advanced Practice Leader (APL), you will provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple specialty clinics, ensuring efficient workflows, exceptional patient experiences, strong financial performance, regulatory compliance, and high-quality care delivery. You will play a key role in advancing access to care for patients with complex neurological, pulmonary, and infectious disease conditions while supporting physicians and staff in achieving operational excellence.

    Pay Range:
    $93,600 - $140,067

    What We're Looking For

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Five (5) or more years of progressive leadership experience in an ambulatory, physician practice, healthcare operations, or multi-specialty clinic environment.
    • Experience managing clinic operations, budgets, staffing, revenue cycle functions, and physician relationships.
    • Strong knowledge of ambulatory care operations, clinical workflows, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
    • Demonstrated success leading teams through change, growth, and operational improvements.
    • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Leadership, Finance, or related field.
    • Experience supporting specialty practices such as Neurology, Pulmonology, Infectious Disease, or other physician specialty services.
    • Experience with Epic/APeX or other electronic medical record systems.
    • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

    What You'll Do:

    • Provide operational leadership for Neurology, Pulmonology, and Infectious Disease clinics across the MarinHealth Medical Network.
    • Partner with physician leaders and clinical teams to optimize patient access, clinic efficiency, quality outcomes, and patient satisfaction.
    • Develop, implement, and standardize workflows, policies, and operational best practices across service lines.
    • Oversee staffing, budget management, revenue cycle performance, and resource allocation.
    • Monitor clinic performance metrics and implement improvement initiatives that support strategic organizational goals.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, licensing, accreditation, and healthcare standards.
    • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop clinic leadership and support staff.
    • Manage vendor relationships, equipment maintenance programs, and operational resources.
    • Collaborate with executive leadership on growth initiatives, strategic planning, and operational improvement opportunities.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, inclusion, and service excellence.
