    Orthopaedic Surgeon – Saint Joseph Medical Center | Prime HealthcareLocation: Joliet, ILPosition Type: Full-TimeSpecialty: Orthopedic SurgerySalary Range: $650,000-700,000About the Opportunity:Prime Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our team at Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL. This is a full-time opportunity to provide high-quality orthopedic care in a well-established, community-focused hospital with access to advanced surgical technologies and collaborative clinical support.

    About Saint Joseph Medical Center:Saint Joseph Medical Center is a Joint Commission Accredited 489-bed facility and the leading hospital in the Joliet area, where we offer comprehensive specialty and 24/7 emergency care, complemented by our Level II trauma center. Our expert surgical teams are equipped to handle serious and life-threatening conditions, ensuring that patient needs are prioritized through attentive listening and tailored care. As a premier destination for specialty services, we excel in areas such as cardiology, oncology, stroke care, orthopedics, and women’s health.

    Responsibilities

    • Diagnose and treat injuries or disorders of the musculoskeletal system• Perform surgical and non-surgical procedures• Collaborate with hospital staff and specialists to provide comprehensive patient care• Participate in on-call coverage as required• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

    Qualifications

    • MD or DO degree from an accredited program• Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery• Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the state of Illinois• Excellent clinical, surgical, and interpersonal skills

    Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $650,000 - $700,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
