Your opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Completions Engineer to join the construction of a major desalination plant, playing a pivotal role in driving the project through to successful completion.
You’ll be at the forefront of managing completions and close-out schedules, compiling critical handover documentation, and ensuring the highest quality standards are achieved — all while supporting the delivery of a safe, defect-free project that meets contractual, technical and client requirements.
Working closely with construction, commissioning, engineering and client teams, you’ll help ensure a smooth and efficient transition from construction through commissioning to final client handover. You’ll have a strong focus on risk mitigation, quality assurance, systems completion and continuous improvement, ensuring all project deliverables are completed to the required standards and within agreed timeframes.

Your Key Responsibilities
* Project Completion: Manage the completion and close-out schedule, ensuring all works are completed within contractual timeframes.
* Documentation: Compile and manage handover documentation progressively, ensuring timely completion within contractual requirements.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure all works are defect-free and meet the required quality standards.
* Client Handover: Facilitate the successful handover of the completed project to the client.
* Collaboration: Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient completion of the project.
* Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks related to project completion.
* Budget Management: Monitor and manage project completion costs, ensuring adherence to the budget.
* Continuous Improvement: Contribute to project reviews and lessons learned to identify areas for improvement in future projects.
What You ‘Can Do’
* Experience: Proven experience in completions management, within the mineral processing construction projects: gold project experience is preferred.
* Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction processes, quality control procedures, and handover documentation.
* Skills: Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
