Campus Dining invites applications for a Foodservice worker in our Yeh College Dining Hall at Princeton University. In alignment with the core values of the Department of Campus Dining, the Foodservice Worker is responsible for cold food preparation, front-of-house service and ware-washing. The Foodservice Worker is responsible for all levels of customer service and for maintaining the kitchen and stations in a clean, safe and orderly fashion.
Schedule: Mon, Tues, Fri-Sun 12:30pm-9pm
Wednesday and Thursday off

Qualifications:• High school diploma or GED or at least one (1) year of relevant experience.• Must have excellent communication skills.• Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with a diverse population.• Must have strong multi-tasking skills and be able to work in a fast-paced diverseenvironment.• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, extended and eveninghours, and required work outside of the assigned unit. Preferred Qualifications:• Collegiate dining experience.• Knowledge of HACCP policies and procedures.• Experience with digital and analog thermometers and utilize scales and othermeasuring devices.• Skilled in presenting and garnishing food.• Experience with a variety of kitchen and service equipment including dishmachines, steamers, ovens, slicers, choppers, mixers, blenders, various hot andcold beverage dispensers, coffee brewers, espresso/cappuccino machines, flashfreezer, and various hand tools.Essential Job Functions: • stand or walk up to 2 hours at one time for a total of 6-8 hours per day;• sit for no more than 2 hours during an 8 hour day, except for cashiers and card checkers who may sit for 2 – 4 hours at one time for a total of 4 – 6 hours perday;• drive for no more than 30 minutes at one time;• lift or carry up to 30 pounds in a range of motions from floor tooverhead frequently (34 – 66% of the workday);• lift or carry up to 50 pounds in a range of motions from floor to chestheight occasionally (less than 33% of the workday);• push or pull using forces up to 50 pounds occasionally (less than 33 % of the workday);• use arms and hands for simple grasping, fine manipulation, pushing or pulling with forces up to 5 pounds continuously (67 – 100% of the workday) and up to 30 pounds frequently (34 – 66% of the workday);• bend, squat, kneel, climb stairs, reach overhead, lift overhead occasionally (less than 33% of the work day);• work under a range of temperature conditions (e.g., kitchens, walk-inrefrigerators and freezers, etc);• Possess physical agility, full range of motion, and ability to maintain balance• Adheres to University/EHS PPE Safety Policies.
