    Job description

St Brannocks is located in New Romney, Kent. The residential service supports six males and females who have varied disabilities, including people who are on the autism spectrum. Our home is situated off a main road, less than 10 minutes’ walk to the town centre.
Our team are dedicated to providing a safe and homely environment, where all the people we care for can make their own choices about the support they receive. We want to improve and positively impact on the lives of our residents.
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Bank Support Workers to join our team and provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals who use our services. This flexible role allows you to work on a bank basis while making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
As a Bank Support Worker, you will provide direct support that promotes dignity, independence, and choice. You will work closely with individuals to help them live fulfilling lives, supporting them with daily activities and encouraging them to achieve their personal goals.
Support Workers play a vital role in helping people maintain their independence while ensuring their wellbeing and safety. The role can be both rewarding and challenging, so resilience, patience, and a caring nature are essential. No two days are the same, and your empathy and positive attitude will help individuals navigate both the highs and lows of daily life.
Your responsibilities may include supporting individuals with everyday tasks, promoting independence, encouraging social engagement, and providing emotional support.
Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.
    What We’re Looking For:
    • A caring and respectful approach to supporting others.
    • Ability to work flexibly and think innovatively.
    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
    • Commitment to upholding professional standards, policies, and procedures.
    • Experience in care or support work (desirable, but not essential – training provided).
We want you to succeed at Priory and thrive in your role. You will be well supported with regular career conversations. We also offer full training and numerous pathways into leadership and qualified clinical positions to help you shape your career with us.
    • Pension enrolment
    • Access to development opportunities
    • Refer a friend bonus
    • DBS paid for
Shortlisting may begin upon receipt of applications, and the Recruiting Manager may close the vacancy early if enough suitable candidates are identified.
