Brooke House is a large, detached, Edwardian property. The main house features eight bedrooms, all of which have access to the shared communal facilities. To the rear of the property, there is also a self-contained studio-style flat, with direct access to our shared garden area. The studio flat has a separate kitchen and bathroom.
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a Support Worker you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents.
    You also have to:
    • Provide personal care support with sensitivity to individual needs and preferences.
    • Support daily living skills to promote independence (e.g., dressing, grooming, meal preparation)
    • Use de-escalation techniques and positive behaviour support strategies to manage challenging behaviours calmly and respectfully
    • Develop and follow personalised care plans and behaviour support plans
    • Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent care
You can find additional information in the attached job description.
Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.
No prior experience is required for this role, just a willingness to assist with basic care needs. Full training will be provided to support you every step of the way.
We want you to succeed at Priory and thrive in your role. You will be well supported with regular career conversations. We also offer full training and numerous pathways into leadership and qualified clinical positions to help you shape your career with us.
    • Pension enrolment
    • Access to development opportunities
    • Refer a friend bonus
    • DBS paid for
Shortlisting may begin upon receipt of applications, and the Recruiting Manager may close the vacancy early if enough suitable candidates are identified.
