    Priory Hospital Suttons Manor
    Part-time| 15 hours per week | Site based 
    £15 / hour
    We’re advertising this role as Cook to make it easier to find, but at Priory the role is known as Chef and this is the title that will appear on your contract.

    Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.
    However, the site is also accessible via the below public transport links.
    • Close to town of Romford
    • Convenient access is provided by the M25
    • Nearby underground station Theydon Bois, which is on the Central Line
    • Close to Romford and Brentwood railway stations
    • Bus stops are a short walk away (Epping Lane bus stop or Passingford Bridge roundabout)
    As a Cook, you will work 8:00am – 4:00pm every Saturday and Sunday, taking responsibility for the planning, preparation, cooking, and service of nutritious, high-quality meals within the hospital. You will ensure all kitchen activities and operations are carried out in line with operational standards, food hygiene requirements, and statutory regulations.
    We are looking for a skilled and organised Cook with NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) and a basic food hygiene qualification. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a professional kitchen, preparing high-quality meals for large groups while working to deadlines and budget. You will have strong communication and organisational skills, a good understanding of specialised diets including dysphagia and allergens, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
