The Priory Hospital Glasgow has an opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Priory Hospital Glasgow is a specialist inpatient treatment centre providing support for mental health conditions and addictions, including depression treatment, alcohol and drug rehabilitation, and private autism assessments for adults.
It is accessible by public transport, with local train stations nearby and easy access from Glasgow city centre, as well as motorway links. The successful candidate will support and assist our multi-disciplinary teams in the assessment, planning and implementation of individual care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed to facilitate the well-being, dignity and treatment of all patients.
The role
will be based within the Eating Disorders Ward with flexibility to work across wards as required. The successful candidate will be able to work within a team or on their own initiative; will be hard working and reliable and will demonstrate enthusiasm and an ability to adapt to challenging situations. In addition, the successful applicant will have effective communication skills, be caring in nature and possess a willingness to learn. As an independent Acute Psychiatric Hospital we can offer you the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment.
