    Priory Hospital Bristol Salary £28,996 Full Time role of 37.5 hours Priory Hospital Bristol has an opportunity for a Medical Secretary to join our team. Priory Hospital Bristol, Stapleton, Bristol is a specialist mental health and addiction treatment service for individuals, families and couples. It provides fast access to treatment for a range of psychiatric conditions and addictions. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes serving Stapleton and Bristol Parkway railway station approximately 2–3 miles from the hospital.

    You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. While your role doesn’t involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.

    To provide cross cover within specified Medical Secretaries teams, as assigned by your line manager. Provide exceptional customer service to our patients, ensuring a positive customer experience. You will be required to accurately record Independent Consultant time to ensure appropriate invoicing controls are in place for the hospital. Independent Consultant Time is designated as time you spend completing tasks assigned to you by a Consultant.

    Organise diaries and patient appointments directly with patients and Consultants whilst ensuring the hospital is providing the best possible service to patients. You can find additional information in the attached job description.  Essential for the role Experience within an administrative, customer service, clinical or other appropriate background. Experience of working within a team and sharing workload to ensure the department runs effectively.
