As an Assistant Store Manager, you’ll help oversee daily store operations, support team members, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced grocery store environment.

What You’ll Do
- Help manage daily store operations and ensure smooth store functions
- Supervise employees, assign tasks, and support team performance
- Assist with inventory control, stocking, and merchandising
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns
- Support store opening and closing procedures
- Monitor compliance with company policies, food safety, and health regulations
- Assist with cash handling, register operations, and reconciliations
- Help train and develop new team members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly store environment
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in grocery, retail, or department management preferred
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Knowledge of store operations, merchandising, and inventory control
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using technology for reporting, scheduling, and inventory tracking
- Detail-oriented with the ability to enforce store policies and procedures
- Flexible full-time availability (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)
Work Environment
- Fast-paced grocery store environment
- Exposure to refrigerated, freezer, and outdoor conditions
- Standing for extended periods; lifting up to 50 lbs
