General Description:
We are searching for a talented and qualified millwright who has proven experience with industrial and construction equipment. You will be responsible for assembly of Automation components, product machinery, transferring equipment, interpreting blueprints, and installing equipment.
The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of hydraulics, motors, and other industrial machine mechanisms essential for job procedures. Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and customer focus. In this position, you should also be able to make decisions, troubleshoot, and work independently with little to no supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Assembles electrical and pneumatic systems in accordance to work order using hand and power tools.
- Tests all assembled systems for standard expectations of quality, quantity, and time.
- Maintains system accuracy by updating inventory records for parts used defective parts, and additional parts needed.
- Assists customers with needs assessment and completes repairs.
- Coordinates with material handling, sales and others to expedite orders.
- Review and interpret engineering specifications, schematics, and blueprints to determine work procedures.
- Determine which machines, techniques, and tools to use when moving equipment and completing jobs.
- Maintain safe and orderly work area.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements/Skills:
- 1-5 years of Assembly or Shop experience preferred
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a millwright or similar job
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize to be able to meet the expectations of the customer with respect to quantity and timing
- Detail oriented is extremely important to provide the highest level of quality
- Customer focused
- Completion of an accredited millwright certificate program
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to work well in a team environment
