    • Establish and maintain inventory planning parameters such as safety stock, reorder points, minimum buy quantities, and lead times
    • Ensure continuous material flow to support production schedules while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory
    • Monitor supplier performance related to cost, quality, delivery, and responsiveness
    • Identify and resolve supplier issues, including late deliveries, quality concerns, pricing discrepancies, and invoice issues
    • Support supplier development and improvement initiatives to strengthen long-term partnerships
    • Drive year-over-year cost reduction initiatives through negotiations, sourcing strategies, and supply base optimization
    • Analyze spend, lead times, and usage trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and inventory improvement
    • Support total cost of ownership initiatives, including logistics, MOQ alignment, and payment terms
    • Track and report key metrics such as inventory turns, supplier on-time delivery, cost savings, and past-due purchase orders
    • Partner closely with manufacturing, engineering, quality, planning, and finance teams
    • Support new product introductions (NPI) and engineering changes by ensuring timely supplier readiness and material availability
    • Participate in component sourcing decisions and supplier qualification efforts
    • Align sourcing strategies with business objectives and operational priorities

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
    • Experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain analysis within a manufacturing environment
    • Proficiency with SAP and MRP-based systems
