Digital Pilot Press Operator

This is a part time role based in St Louis.

Essential Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Results

• Review job ticket instructions to determine requirements of job production.
• Operate Dry Offset printing press for metal decorating. (Dry off-set experience not required but preferred)
• Interact with each plant workstation to meet with the supervisor’s timelines and scheduling concerns.

• Assist with color standards.
• Record data into job tickets.

• Interact with SGS graphics personnel on any technical issues which may arise.
• QC work performed in accordance with department SOPs.
• Be responsible for keeping all work areas clean and orderly.
• Participate in process improvement efforts and various production meetings to foster a positive creative impact on the business.
• Communicate with ink supplier on ink inventory when needed.
• Work directly with onsite customers (visitors) for any in-house pilot can approvals.
• Present printed cans and collaborate with customer on adjustments.
• Maintain Press in proper mechanical operations. Record daily, weekly and monthly maintenance records by keeping proper logs on file.
• Communicate necessary press maintenance in advance to production manager
• Create Pilot standard by using color measurement hardware and software
• Participate and advise on best practices/SOP creation or updates.
• Responsible to ensure that plant procedures are being followed.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $25 - $30 USD hourly. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
