Overview:

Prophecy, Prosek’s award-winning creative, branding, and marketing business, helps clients define where they can win and how they should show up in market. Our work spans positioning, messaging, audience and content strategy, brand narrative, thought leadership, and launch planning.

Our Content Strategy team helps clients turn business priorities into clear, effective content strategies. We define what to say, who to say it to, and where content fits within the buyer journey. Our work includes editorial strategy, content architecture, thought leadership, content planning, and multi-format content experiences.

We are seeking a Director of Content Strategy to lead the evolution of content from a production capability into a strategic growth driver. In this role, you will develop editorial strategies, content frameworks, and thought leadership programs. You’ll connect audience needs with business priorities and market opportunities. You’ll also partner with communications, creative, strategy, and client teams to build content programs that drive measurable business outcomes.

You will play an important role in growing Prosek’s content strategy practice. This includes supporting new business, expanding client relationships, refining our approach, and developing repeatable frameworks.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and commercially minded content leader. You know how to turn complex business objectives into compelling content programs that build visibility, credibility, engagement, and growth.

What you’ll be doing

• Develop editorial strategies, content frameworks, and thought leadership programs aligned to client business objectives.  
• Build content architectures, audience journeys, and editorial calendars that guide content development. 
• Lead content audits and gap analyses to identify opportunities for stronger positioning and engagement.
• Partner with communications, creative, digital, and analytics teams to deliver integrated programs.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to clients on content, executive visibility, and audience engagement.
• Help package and refine Prosek's content strategy offerings and methodologies.
• Contribute to new business efforts and identify opportunities for client growth and expansion.
• Measure and communicate the impact of content initiatives against business goals. 

What makes you qualified

• 6-10 years of experience in content strategy, editorial strategy, communications, marketing, or related field.  
• Experience developing content strategies tied to business and marketing objectives. 
• Strong understanding of thought leadership, executive positioning, and audience engagement.
• Exceptional writing, storytelling, and presentation skills.
• Experience working directly with senior stakeholders and client leaders.
• Strategic mindset with strong commercial instincts and a bias toward action.
• Curiosity, accountability, collaboration, and attention to detail.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $125,000-145,000. An employee's salary is determined by a range of factors including but not limited to relevant experience, qualifications, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is one component of Prosek's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, new business commission, paid time off, and other benefits.
