ProSidian Seeks a Engineering Program and Configuration Management Senior Advisor - Engineering headquartered near Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina to support an engagement for Nuclear Energy Sector Clients The Savannah River Site (SRS), a 310 square mile (198,046 acres) Department of Energy site, is located in the sand-hills region of South Carolina. It encompasses parts of Aiken, Barnwell and Allendale counties and is bordered on the west by the Savannah River and Georgia. SRS is close to several cities, including Augusta, Georgia and Columbia, South Carolina. It is also within a few hours of Atlanta, Savannah, Charleston, Greenville and Charlotte.

ProSidian Team Members work to provide temporary staffing support services to support Savannah River Remediation (SRR), the Liquid Waste (LW) Contractor located at the Department of Energy Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC 29808. Services anticipated includes storage, integration, treatment and disposition of the liquid radioactive waste being managed at the Savannah River Site (DOE).
Engineering Program and Configuration Management Senior Advisor - Engineering Candidates shall work to support requirements for 0 and The primary purpose of this position is to perform Engineering Program (EP) and Configuration Management (CM) Senior Advisor EN 103 related assessments and observations; analyze the results of both internal and external EP and CM related assessments; and work with Design Services, Design Authority Engineers (DAE) and Facility Operations personnel to effect resolutions to identified issues, gaps and vulnerabilities in Engineering Programs.

The Engineering Program and Configuration Management Senior Advisor - Engineering shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. All employees, in the performance of their respective responsibilities, shall conduct themselves in the highest possible standards of ethical and business conduct. The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.
U.S. Citizenship required Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline 20 years of practical experience in Nuclear Facility Engineering, minimum 10 years of experience with Liquid Waste Engineering Programs, to include conduct of engineering, engineering training and qualification, and configuration control.
Prior experience/expertise in technical writing and the interpretation/use of complex technical documentation. A 40-hour work week is scheduled. SRR utilizes various work schedules; including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and a 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B). A 4/10 schedule is preferred. Work week excludes SRR holidays. Standard Facilities Access required but a security clearance is not currently required for this position
TRAVEL: Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, events, site visits, or other training requirements. Travel is coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations. LOCATION: Work shall be conducted at or in proximity to Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina
