Job Overview:
We are urgently looking for an Android Developer for our client, an emerging online shopping portal company. They are highly interested in candidates that have:
- Experience shipping one or more Android apps, currently available on Google Play
- Experience with the latest Android and Google Play Services APIs Proficient with Java, the Android SDK & Android Studio
- Solid understanding of Object Oriented Design and Programming Experience interfacing with server APIs via JSON and XML
- Ability to work in areas outside of their usual comfort zone and love to learn new technologies

Requirements for the Role:
- 3+ years of Java software development
- Knowledge and demonstrable work on the current Android platform, including the latest ICS and Jellybean versions
- Keeps up-to-date on the latest Android SDK developments; respond to customer feedback & testing
- Self-motivated, and can excel in a team-based environment
- Has a portfolio of personal projects that shows an aptitude for engineering and product sense
