Compensation

$50,432.77–$58,041.40 USD total annual compensation, including base salary and performance incentives, depending on experience.

Occasional after-hours, weekend, and on-call availability required as needed for critical equipment issues.

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep our Wilmington manufacturing operations running safely, reliably, and efficiently.

You'll work closely with our Operations, Production, and Maintenance teams to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment problems, complete repairs, and help minimize production downtime.

This is a hands-on role where you'll need to think on your feet, respond to equipment issues, and work through problems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and complete repairs.
• Respond to critical equipment issues to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment status information.
• Source repair parts and coordinate with external vendors when needed.
• Communicate equipment status and repair progress with Production and management.
• Work with Production and Maintenance teams to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Support improvements that increase equipment reliability and performance.
• Participate in after-hours, weekend, and on-call coverage when required.

What You Need

Required

• 2 or more years of experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, or a similar hands-on technical role.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Solid understanding of instrumentation, electronics, and automation.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment problems.
• Ability to maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well with Production, Maintenance, and management teams.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
• Ability to work on-site in Wilmington, NC.
• Ability to participate in after-hours and on-call coverage, including weekends, when required.

Nice to Have

• Diploma or certificate in a relevant technical or skilled-trades field.
• Completed apprenticeship or relevant trades training.
• Experience in a manufacturing, sheet metal, or production environment.
• Experience with maintenance tracking or computerized maintenance systems.

What Success Looks Like

In your first year, you'll become familiar with our equipment and manufacturing processes, independently handle routine preventative maintenance and common equipment issues, and become a dependable member of the team when critical maintenance needs arise.

You'll also contribute to improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and supporting the continued growth of our Wilmington manufacturing operation.
