    Lead Echocardiograph Technologist

    Oversees and participates in the delivery of high quality professional and technical care for the Cardio Diagnostics Department.  Oversees and coordinates a variety of supervisory and technical duties and responsibilities associated with unit/department, to ensure efficient operation, skills and competencies of staff, effectiveness of technical studies and achievement of accreditation. Assists in supervising the daily work of the echosonographers, allocating and monitoring patient care and technical work as it relates to cardiovascular ultrasound.  Serves as key lead to educate staff on technique for performance of echocardiograms (including pedi/adult echo, vascular and EKG) and ensures competency, proficiency in the performance of technical work.  Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age-specific patient population (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics), and participates in related continuing education.

    Please note the following important details regarding this position:

    • This role is an onsite position and will report onsite daily as scheduled.
    • This role requires for you to be located within a commutable distance of our office location listed below:
      • Texas: Plainview
    • Flexible and available to work on-call as needed to maintain operational continuity, as scheduled, based on departmental needs and operational requirements.
    • Work Status Available:
      • Full Time
    • Shift Available:
      • ⁠Day
    • Shifts Hours:
      • 8am - 5:30pm (with some flexibility);
      • Rotating On Call Schedule: 5:30pm - 8am on call (M-F) and
      • 24 hour call on weekends

    Required Qualifications:

    • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
    • Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or
    • Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
    • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
    • 2 years experience in Echocardiography.

    Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position.  The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
