    • Minimum Salary: 17.00
    • Maximum Salary: 23.87
    • Job Location: Holy Family Hospital-Spokane(HR)

    The Nurse Technician is a student currently enrolled in a Registered Nurse program at an accredited school and has completed at least one academic term, which included a clinical component.  Functions under the direct supervision of the registered nurse and within the scope of practice that the supervising registered nurse has determined is appropriate based upon the education and skills of the Nurse Technician and as defined by the Washington Administrative Code (WAC).  Responsible for providing direct patient care applying current health concepts and assisting with routine or general clinical responsibilities that may contribute directly and indirectly to patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse or other registered nurse.  May work up to the documented level of academic competence accomplished in the individual's education program.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Completed one academic term which includes a clinical rotation
    • Washington Nursing Technician Registration upon hire
    • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
    • Clinical rotation

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree: Must be currently enrolled and in good standing in an approved nursing program approved by the Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission, Washington State Department of Health; or other state nursing approval body for out of state residents
    • Written documentation is required from the approved nursing program of the current level of educational preparation and an assessment of the knowledge and skills of the individual

    Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position.  The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
