Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate onboarding and training programs for new and current warehouse employees.
- Provide hands-on instruction and coaching to employees with varying levels of experience, learning styles, and communication preferences.
- Adapt training methods as needed to promote understanding, competency, and retention.
- Provide hands-on training for shipping, receiving, inventory handling, repack operations, and other warehouse processes.
- Ensure employees understand and follow established operational procedures and standards.
- Support cross-training initiatives to increase employee versatility and operational effectiveness.
- Provide hands-on training for sit-down and stand-up forklifts and other Powered Industrial Vehicles.
- Evaluate operator competency and reinforce safe operating practices.
- Ensure employees understand and follow applicable equipment, safety, and warehouse procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate employee performance throughout training periods and provide feedback and additional coaching as needed.
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
- Partner with supervisors and team leads to identify training needs and develop improvement plans.
- Build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively with employees across departments and shifts.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and assisting with implementation.
- Lead by example and promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
Work Environment
- Warehouse environment requiring regular physical activity, including walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 33 lbs.
- Regular interaction with warehouse employees, supervisors, and team leads across multiple departments and shifts.
- Frequent hands-on operation and training involving Powered Industrial Vehicles, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Requires flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or other shifts based on business needs.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
- 2+ years of warehouse experience required.
- Lead, supervisory, or employee training experience preferred.
- 2+ years of experience operating sit-down and stand-up Powered Industrial Vehicles preferred.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, safety practices, and equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and evaluate employees with varying levels of experience and learning styles.
- Proficient with basic computer applications and warehouse systems, including Outlook, Excel, and JotForm.
- Knowledge of warehouse processes including shipping, receiving, inventory handling, and repack operations.

Benefits/Perks
- $24/hr
- Accrue up to five days PTO in first year. Two-weeks vacation, plus one week PTO accrue on first anniversary.
