Publicis Sapient is a digital transformation partner supporting established organizations in achieving a future, digitally enabled state, both in how they operate and how they deliver value to their customers.

We help unlock value through a start-up mindset combined with modern, proven methods. Our approach integrates strategy, consulting, and customer experience with agile engineering and creative problem-solving to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Guided by our core values and our purpose, helping people thrive in the brave pursuit of what’s next—our global team of more than 20,000 professionals across 53 offices brings together expertise in technology, data science, consulting, and customer-centricity.

By combining these capabilities, we enable our clients to accelerate their businesses through the design and delivery of products and services that their customers truly value.

    Overview

Leverage in-depth expertise in the Murex, with hands-on experience across key modules and functionalities, to support the design and delivery of robust solutions. Apply a strong understanding of end-to-end functional processes within banks and asset management organizations, including the interdependencies and interactions between front-office, risk, finance, and operations streams, to ensure coherent and scalable solution design.

Lead and facilitate design and show-and-tell sessions with business stakeholders, technical teams, and Murex specialists, translating complex requirements into clear functional and technical concepts, aligning expectations, and driving discussions toward well-structured and implementable solutions.

    Responsibilities

    • Contribute beyond individual modules by supporting the overall design and integrity of the Murex application landscape.
    • Drive the selection of technologies and architectural approaches to ensure optimal, scalable, and client-specific Murex setups.
    • Operate effectively in a complex front-to-back environment, managing multiple priorities and taking ownership of tasks through to completion, while supporting distributed platform teams across locations.
    • Act as a technical lead by designing and delivering cross-framework integration solutions and contributing to consolidation programs, supported by detailed Technical Design Documents.
    • Translate solution concepts from test-driven development (TDD) into low-level designs (LLD) and support development activities within agile delivery frameworks.
    • Support go-live planning and execution, including structured change management and test planning, as well as post-go-live stabilization and support.
    • Contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines, enabling efficient collaboration across global development teams and supporting timely release delivery.
    • Drive continuous innovation by automating release-related activities and improving delivery efficiency.
    • Define, document, and maintain operating procedures, ensuring alignment with relevant controls and compliance with group and local policies.
    • Establish and take ownership of governance structures for identifying, assessing, and managing risks.

    Qualifications

    • Strong hands-on experience with the Murex, particularly in technical interfacing areas such as MxML Exchange, Datamart, pre- and post-trade processing, market data, and static data, as well as functional areas including GOM, product and trade lifecycle, pricing, simulation, and counterparty management.

    • Deep expertise in the technical architecture of the Murex platform, combined with a solid understanding of its data models, including detailed knowledge of MxML Exchange and Datamart.

    • Proven experience in managing and consolidating cross-platform Murex environments across multiple instances and setups.

    • Strong hands-on experience with database technologies, including Transact-SQL or PL/SQL, as well as Unix/Linux systems and shell scripting, complemented by proficiency in at least two programming languages.

    • Experience in leading greenfield implementations, migration programs, and large-scale transformation initiatives.

    • Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders and communities.

    • Knowledge of cloud platforms and related architectures.

    • Experience with robotic process automation (RPA) or the automation of operational processes is considered an advantage.

    • Experience working with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Bitbucket, Jira, Jenkins, ServiceNow, Automic, and Autosys.

    • Hands-on experience with Murex batch configuration and end-of-day (EOD) processing.

    • Experience with Murex upgrades and migrations (e.g., version 3.1.36 and above) is an advantage.

    • Excellent communication skills in both English and German (written and spoken).

    • Strong knowledge of capital markets.

    • Understanding of IT operational principles and solid experience in one or more service management disciplines, such as Incident, Problem, Change, IT Service Continuity, or Capacity Management.

    Additional Information

    • An inclusive workplace that promotes diversity and collaboration.
    • Access to ongoing learning and development opportunities.
    • Competitive compensation and benefits package.
    • Flexibility to support work-life balance.
    • Comprehensive health benefits for you and your family.
    • Generous paid leave and holidays.
