Under direction of the Fleet Managers, assists with ensuring that all Company Fleet (vehicles, trucks & equipment) are properly cleaned, fueled, fluid levels checked, and other maintenance tasks such as checking tire pressure, wheel alignment, etc. and any required adjustments are made.
Compensation:
$19.20/hour (non-exempt)
This is a Union position with 1 opening.

Reports to: Fleet Lot Coordinator, Fleet Lot Supervisor, and Fleet Manager

Responsibilities
Essential Duties
- Cleans and washes the interior and exterior of all Company vehicles.
- Completes all maintenance tasks such as checking fuel levels, tire pressure, wheel alignment, etc.
- Ensures that vehicle is fueled properly.
- Maintains records on maintenance activity performed on vehicles.
- Under direction, assigns vehicles and issues keys.
- Reports any discrepancies to Supervisor.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualification/Requirements:
- Knowledge in basic vehicle maintenance, preferred.
- Six months to one year experience in auto detailing, preferred.
- Requires relating to people in a friendly and professional manner.
- Requires working to the established procedures and maintaining reliable work attendance.
- Requires good verbal and written communication skills.
- Requires the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Able to think and make effective decisions quickly.
- Ability to create effective working relationships with employees.
- Must be able to maintain a positive attitude and work under pressure.
Required Work Cards/Certifications:
- Valid Hawaii Driver’s License and successful review of Motor Vehicle Record
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear.
- The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, and color vision.
