    Job Title: Accident & Emergency Nurse
    Banding: Band 5 & Band 6
    Location: Mansfield
    Hourly Pay Rate: £22.00 – £38.00 per hour

    Pulse Nursing is seeking skilled and experienced Accident & Emergency nurses to join our team at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS FT.

    As an A&E nurse, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional, patient-centred care. This highly rewarding role offers the opportunity to continuously develop your clinical skills while making a meaningful difference to patients at some of their most critical moments.

    PAYE rates are £15.00 per hour for days, £20.00 for nights and Saturdays, and £25.00 for Sundays and bank holidays, or Umbrella rates are £17.50 per hour for days, £23.00 for nights and Saturdays, and £29.00 for Sundays and bank holidays.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care within a busy Accident & Emergency department
    • Assess, monitor, and manage patients presenting with acute and emergency conditions
    • Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely and safe patient care
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation
    • Adhere to NMC guidelines, trust policies, and clinical governance standards
    • Respond calmly and effectively in high-pressure and emergency situations

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Valid NMC registration
    • Minimum of 6 months’ recent A&E experience within the last 12 months
    • Ability to provide two professional references covering the previous 3 years
    • Compliance with framework requirements, including DBS and Occupational Health clearance
    • Proof of right to work in the UK
    • Strong clinical knowledge and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
