    Job Title: Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN)
    Band: 6
    Location: Oswestry, Shropshire
    Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
    Rate: Competitive — details to be discussed upon application

    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join our NHS client in Oswestry, Shropshire. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a supportive community mental health team.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Deliver high-quality mental health care to service users in the community.
    • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and risk evaluations.
    • Develop, implement, and review care plans in collaboration with service users and the multidisciplinary team.
    • Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support to individuals with complex mental health needs.
    • Liaise with families, carers, and external agencies to ensure coordinated care.
    • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with professional standards.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with valid NMC registration.
    • Significant post-registration experience in community mental health settings.
    • Strong clinical assessment and risk management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable for community visits).
