Location: East Anglia (regional coverage) Contract: 12‑month fixed term Hours: 22.5 hours per week

    Overview

Pulse, part of the Acacium Group, is seeking an experienced MSK and General Sonographer to support services across East Anglia on a fixed‑term basis. This role offers a great opportunity for a flexible, confident practitioner who enjoys working across varied clinical settings while delivering high‑quality patient care.

You’ll be providing a mixture of MSK and general ultrasound examinations, supporting smooth diagnostic pathways and maintaining excellent clinical standards. Travel between sites is required, so the role suits someone who is comfortable working across a regional area.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Carry out a broad range of MSK ultrasound examinations.

    • Deliver high‑quality general ultrasound scans, including abdominal, pelvic and small parts.

    • Produce clear, accurate reports in line with professional and service expectations.

    • Work collaboratively with local teams to ensure efficient patient flow.

    • Uphold all relevant clinical governance, safety and quality standards.

    • Contribute to a positive, patient‑centred experience at all times.

    What We’re Looking For

    • A recognised ultrasound qualification (PGCert/PGDip/DMU or equivalent).

    • Competency in both MSK and general ultrasound.

    • HCPC or relevant professional registration (or eligibility).

    • Strong communication skills and a professional, adaptable approach.

    • Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload.

    • Full UK driving licence and access to a car, as travel between sites is essential.

    • Flexibility to work across multiple locations within East Anglia.

Why Join Pulse / Acacium Group

    • Supportive, knowledgeable consultants who understand your clinical background.

    • Flexible working patterns within the 22.5‑hour schedule.

    • Access to ongoing CPD opportunities.

    • Competitive rates and a smooth onboarding process.

    • Opportunities to work across a variety of clinical environments.
