Job Title: ATG Architect

Type: 6 months Contract to Hire role

Location: Lincoln, Rhode Island

Positions: 2

Minimum Requirements:

· Minimum 5 plus years of Java experience and 3+ on ATG
· 8 to 10 years in Information Technology
· Experience in all phases of the software development life-cycle
· Experience with implementation of large systems that utilize J2EE technologies, particularly e-Commerce
· Applied knowledge of designing n-Tier OO system architectures using EJB technologies
· Applied experience with OOD and UML
· Applied knowledge of Design Patterns
· Experience developing in J2EE framework : EJB, JSP, Servlet, JMS, JNDI, JDBC, JMX, RMI
· Knowledge of and/or experience with Web Services Standards (SOAP, XML, WSDL, UDDI) a plus
· Experience with standard internet protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, POP, FTP, SMTP
· Applied knowledge of user interface (HTML, Javascript, JSP) design
· Applied experience with RDBMS design, development
· Applied knowledge of back-end connectivity to database systems
· Must be able to spearhead the design from business use-cases through design model
· Must be highly organized and detail-orientated
· Excellent verbal and communication skills
· Strong experience with ATG e-Commerce platform and tools a strong plus
· Mobile application development experience a plus
· Knowledge of either Rational Rose or Together J modeling tools a plus
· Project Management skills.

Process Focus:

· Ability to understand big picture of retail and ability to manage multiple projects (Including estimations, review of estimations)
· Risk mitigation capability; work with enterprise, security and data architects to articulate functional/nonfunctional aspects of requirements and architecture.
· Strong exposure to scope creep control by means of ATG Technical expertise. Exposure and proven experience on handling various phases of Project (Discovery, Estimation, Design).
· Work with changing priorities and shifting timelines and a GDD Model.
· Very efficient negotiation and communication skills.
