We want to hear that magical <strong>"wow!"</strong> from our customers.</p><p style="margin-bottom:0cm;line-height:normal;background:white;">As Pyypl continues to scale, we are looking for a <strong>Backend Developer</strong> to join us on our next big growth phase!</p><div><br></div><div><strong><span style="color: rgb(111, 70, 234);">WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? </span></strong></div><div><br></div><ul type="disc"><li style="color:black;margin-bottom: 0cm;line-height:normal; background:white;">Collaborate with a dynamic team to design, develop, and implement robust backend solutions.</li><li style="color:black;margin-bottom: 0cm;line-height:normal; background:white;">Build, optimize, and maintain efficient and scalable backend systems that meet performance and quality standards.</li><li style="color:black;margin-bottom: 0cm;line-height:normal; background:white;">Contribute to continuous improvement by actively participating in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.</li><li style="color:black;margin-bottom: 0cm;line-height:normal; background:white;">Develop, maintain, and improve documentation for both code and processes to ensure smooth collaboration within the team.</li><li style="color:black;margin-bottom: 0cm;line-height:normal; background:white;">Proactively identify bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues, and devise solutions to these problems.</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong><span style="color: rgb(111, 70, 234);">WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION? </span></strong></div><div><br></div><ul type="disc"><li style="color:black;margin-bottom: 0cm;line-height:normal; background:white;">Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology - Hold a BS or MSc. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent industry qualification.</li><li style="color:black;margin-bottom: 0cm;line-height:normal; background:white;">Have at least 5+ years of backend development experience in cloud or non-cloud systems with 3 years as a Senior.</li><li style="color:black;margin-bottom: 0cm;line-height:normal; background:white;">Passion for Products - Show a genuine compassion for products and software.</li><li style="color:black;margin-bottom: 0cm;line-height:normal; background:white;">Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment - Have some experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for backend systems.</li><li style="color:black;margin-bottom: 0cm;line-height:normal; background:white;">Excellent Communication - Possess excellent communication skills and a willingness to build new teams and create new organizational structures in the start-up ecosystem.</li><li style="color:black;margin-bottom: 0cm;line-height:normal; background:white;">Some basic familiarity with functional programming, node/typescript, or DevOps.</li><li style="color:black;margin-bottom: 0cm;line-height:normal; background:white;">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.</li><li style="color:black;margin-bottom: 0cm;line-height:normal; background:white;">Familiarity with AWS Lambdas and serverless technologies</li><li style="color:black;margin-bottom: 0cm;line-height:normal; background:white;">Familiarity with AWS CloudFormation</li><li style="color:black;margin-bottom: 0cm;line-height:normal; background:white;">A strong Testing and QA mindset, curiosity to understand the big picture and end-to-end workflows, and desire to improve all the internal processes</li><li style="color:black;margin-bottom: 0cm;line-height:normal; background:white;">Demonstrated ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.</li><li style="color:black;margin-bottom: 0cm;line-height:normal; background:white;">Strong understanding of secure coding practices and the ability to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.</li><li style="color:black;margin-bottom: 0cm;line-height:normal; background:white;">Proven experience collaborating with security teams and communicating security-related findings to development teams.</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong><span style="color: rgb(111, 70, 234);"><strong><span style="color: rgb(111, 70, 234);">BENEFITS</span></strong></span></strong></div><div><br></div><p style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;line-height: normal;background:white;">At Pyypl, we don’t just offer jobs but careers.
