What You’ll Be Doing (Role/Responsibilities)
- Develop front-end systems with JavaScript, AngularJS, Node.js, Bootstrap, Backbone, HTML5, CSS and MVC frameworks such as Ember, Dojo, etc.
- Fulfills the role of developer for Web Application development and integration with complex back end systems and Mobile Application interfaces.
- Designs web components following a flat application design supported on multiple browser platforms, including tablet.
- Partner and work closely with the product and services teams to translate wireframes, and designs into code
What You Need to Bring to the Table (Education/Experience)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Minimum of (2) years of professional experience building rich, single-page applications using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery, Underscore, LESS, etc)
- Experience with responsive web design & responsive frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation)
- Experience developing web applications that consume RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Javascript Framework Experience (at least one of the following: Node.js, AngularJS, Backbone, Knockout, SailJS, Ember).
- Experience working in an Agile (Scrum) Environment in a startup company environment.
- Experience using git version control.
- Experience with deployment to Amazon AWS.
- Knowledge of common UI testing frameworks (e.g. Jasmine, JSCoverage)
- Understanding of UX principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of common browser developer tools and performance tuning techniques
