As the Area Facilities Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the physical plant operations of multiple QSL communities. This includes maintenance, repair, safety, and housekeeping functions. You will act as a regional expert and leader, ensuring all facilities are maintained to the highest standard of safety, comfort, and aesthetic appeal.

Key Responsibilities:
- Travel regularly between assigned communities (approx. 75% travel within the region acting as the Director of Facility Maintenance. Approx 25% travel acting as Area Director) to assess, support, and guide maintenance operations.
- While traveling as DFM, the Facilities Specialist will be expected to complete maintenance related tasks as needed.
- Ensure all facilities meet or exceed company standards for cleanliness, safety, preventative maintenance, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, fire safety, etc.).
- Conduct audits and property inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety risks, or deferred maintenance issues.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors on capital projects and repairs, ensuring quality work and cost control.
- Assist in emergency preparedness planning and lead or support regular safety drills and compliance initiatives.
- Serve as a technical advisor for on-site teams, offering troubleshooting support for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and other systems.
