Location: Winnipeg Regional Office, One Dr. David Friesen Drive, Winnipeg

Job Overview

Reporting to the Director, Continuous Improvement, as the Business Analyst you will investigate and analyze opportunities to support business users and ongoing projects. You also analyze and develop business processes to improve operational efficiencies, customer satisfaction and employee engagement.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Liaising with business units to evaluate, analyze, validate, and document business requirements, processes and policies.
Investigating opportunities to automate and standardize business processes.
Leading the creation of business cases with input from key stakeholders.
Conducting data collection, technology research, options analysis, risk assessments, cost benefit calculations and support through the approval process.
Participating in the development and evaluation of RFP/RFQ tenders.
Assisting in the delivery of projects, and acting as an intermediary between business units and vendors to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
Supporting change management actions including employee engagement, training and communication activities.
Providing expertise to support information strategy, policy, management, security and service delivery.

Essential Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Analysis, or equivalent.
Minimum 6 years of business analysis experience.
Experience in driving operational performance improvement within an organization.
Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
Strong understanding of business process mapping and how the application of business processes drives performance results.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint).

Work Conditions

You primarily work in an office setting during regular business hours. Overtime may occasionally be required.
