Responsibilities:
- Develop new Risk applications and enhance existing applications using Java.
- Work as part of an Agile/Scrum team with colleagues based in Budapest and other international locations.
- Design and develop distributed data processing and calculation solutions for large datasets.
- Write and maintain complex SQL queries and work with large-scale data.
- Contribute to application and data model design.
- Apply DevOps practices and modern software development methodologies.
- Contribute to shaping the technology and tooling landscape of Risk Management.
- Support the introduction of technology solutions that enable more efficient business processes and help meet regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams in an international environment.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with Java.
- Solid SQL skills, including the ability to write and understand complex SQL queries.
- Experience in application and data model design.
- Practical experience with Agile software development methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of an international team.
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and concepts.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with large-scale databases.
- Previous experience in Risk Management / Financial Risk.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.
