About the role
The Budapest Risk IT team provides technology solutions for analysing and reporting risk across multiple domains. The products developed and maintained by the team are essential for meeting the firm's regulatory obligations and supporting internal analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new Risk applications and enhance existing applications.
- Work as part of an Agile squad with team members based in Budapest and other international locations.
- Follow Agile principles and apply DevOps practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Work with large datasets.
- Develop distributed data processing and calculation solutions.
- Contribute to shaping the tooling and technology landscape of Risk Management.
- Introduce and support tools that enable more efficient business processes and help meet the firm's regulatory obligations.
- Collaborate with globally distributed development and business teams.
Requirements:
- Solid knowledge of Java.
- Solid knowledge and practical experience in writing and understanding SQL queries.
- Experience designing applications and data models.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Open-mindedness and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent higher education qualification.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with automated testing.
- Experience working with large-scale databases.
- Experience with cloud technologies.
- Experience with Python.
