PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Document Controller maintains the QMN Document Control Center through releasing documentation following established procedures and assist with translations from English language documents to Spanish as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintain and control QMN documents and records in accordance with established Document Control procedures and applicable QMS requirements.
· Review documents prior to release for proper formatting, identification, document numbering, revision level, effective date, and required approvals.
· Coordinate document review and approval workflows with document owners and applicable stakeholders, ensuring all required approvals are completed before official release.
· Maintain document revision history, status, and traceability to ensure changes are properly documented and controlled.
· Ensure only the current approved revision is available at the point of use, including the proper distribution and control of printed copies.
· Communicate document releases and revisions to affected departments and personnel.
· Remove, archive, or appropriately identify obsolete documents to prevent unintended use while maintaining applicable retention and disposition requirements.
· Support periodic and annual document reviews with document owners to determine whether documents remain current, require revision, or should be made obsolete.
· Work with document owners to resolve documentation discrepancies and ensure required updates are completed in a timely manner.
· Monitor Document Control activities for compliance with ISO 9001, QMN procedures, applicable QMS requirements and any other ISO Requirements.
· Promote consistency and standardization of controlled documentation across Quanta Business Units.
· Provide guidance and training to personnel regarding Document Control requirements, responsibilities, and processes.
· Translates documents as required using a combination of software-based and manual translation techniques from English to Spanish.
· Reports on progress and backlog of releases and translations as a weekly KPI.
· Assists with live translation as needed during meetings, discussions, training, etc. as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or Management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Proficient Computer Skills; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and E-mail
· Bi-Lingual with demonstrated fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoke, with demonstrated ability to handle technical documentation/language.
· Experience within an ISO 9001 certified organization (engineering environment) preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· Able to squat to lift boxes weighing up to 40 pounds.
· Able to stand, stoop and bend.
· Ability to walk and stand on cement floors for long periods.
· Able to work in warehouse environment with no central heat or air.
